A big thank you to all of our big buddy volunteers! You really came through to foster team spirit. We kick off our volunteer program Friday at the Seals picnic at 6 PM at Strawberry Center Field where big and little buddies will meet and “get festive”.
Activities will include decorating the Seals team trailer and learning team cheers, just in time for time trials on Saturday morning. We encourage all buddy matches to attend each other’s first time trial event on Saturday to cheer each other on.
It is going to be a great season and we look forward to getting everyone together to carry on old team spirit traditions and make some new ones.
Below is the list of buddies. Please note that since there are more little buddies than big buddies, many big buddies have more than one little buddy. We really appreciate your supporting your younger team members!!
Going forward, the primary expected buddy activity will be centered around doing team cheers together at the start of the meets, cheering for your buddy during their events and showing them the ropes as needed.
We will have name tags at the picnic Friday night so you can find each other. We look forward to seeing you all there! Let us know if you have any questions.
