The Swim-a-thon and Ice Cream Social is the Seal’s major fundraising effort of the season and helps cover the cost of pool use, equipment, coaches salaries and other expenses.
Families are encouraged to donate a minimum of $50.00, through either a flat donation or a pledge per lap. Swimmers are encouraged to ask relatives, friends, neighbors, and the community to pledge. A pledge of $1.00 per lap will provide $50.00 for 50 laps.
We'll serve ice cream, have fun relays and contests with great prizes and play great music. Parents are greatly encouraged to join in the relays. So dig out your Speedo and join in the fun. It will be a great evening for the whole family.

Come ride the slides with Coach Anna and Tyler - get wet and have a blast on this field trip with your Seals teammates. The fun begins at 8:30 AM with a chartered bus ride with the entire team and coaches down to the Raging Waters, Northern California’s Largest Waterpark, and ends at approximately 6:30 PM when the bus drops them back at the Strawberry pool. Cost is (TBD) per person and includes bus transportation, lunch, and park admission. This event sells out every year so get your reservation in early if you want to get soaked!
Please note that all 8 and unders must have a chaperone. No outside food or drinks are allowed inside the park. Please send your swimmer with some spending money for snacks throughout the day and a change of clothes for the bus ride home.

Kirby Cove is nestled in a grove of Cypress and Eucalyptus trees, and is a short walk from the small beach, which offers exceptional views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the northern face of the city. Between the beach and the campground stands the concrete bunkers of Battery Kirby, built at the turn of the 20th century as part of an extensive chain of coastal fortifications surrounding the Golden Gate.
Bring your dinner and the whole family to celebrate every Seals' accomplishments this season. This is a great way to wrap up your 2008 Seals season!
